40 YEARS OF HISTORY

A Journey of Faith

Emmanuel Christian Fellowship has grown through God's grace and the faithful commitment of generations of believers.

From its beginnings to the ministry we have today, our journey has been shaped by prayer, biblical teaching, fellowship, evangelism and a desire to serve God faithfully.

The Beginning

The beginning of the journey of Emmanuel Christian Fellowship.

Growth

Growing in Faith

The fellowship continued to grow through biblical teaching, prayer and Christian fellowship.

PASTOR M. S. VASANTHAKUMAR

A Life Dedicated to God's Word

Pastor M. S. Vasanthakumar was born in 1962 into a traditional Christian family. In 1983, he made a personal commitment to follow the Lord Jesus Christ and dedicated his life to serving God.

From 1984 to 1988, he studied at the Sri Lanka Bible College, developing a deep passion for biblical studies and theological research.

From 1985 to 2004, he served as a lecturer at Sri Lanka Bible College, helping to train future Christian leaders and ministers.

Since 2005, he has been serving as the Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Christian Fellowship (ECF) Walthamstow in London.

His ministry continues to be driven by a passion for God's Word and a commitment to equipping believers to know Christ, grow in faith and live according to the truth of the Bible.

We seek to faithfully teach and study God's Word, helping believers grow in their understanding of Scripture.

We gather together to worship God, pray and seek His guidance in every area of our lives.

Fellowship

We encourage meaningful Christian relationships through fellowship, home groups and family gatherings.

Evangelism

We seek to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ and make His message known to others.

We help believers mature in faith and develop a deeper relationship with Christ.

We encourage believers to use their gifts and abilities to serve God and others.
