Our Pastor

Pastor M. S. Vasanthakumar was born in 1962 into a traditional Christian family. In 1983, he made a personal commitment to follow the Lord Jesus Christ and dedicated his life to serving God.

From 1984 to 1988, he studied at the Sri Lanka Bible College, where he developed a deep passion for biblical studies and theological research. From 1985 to 2004, he served as a lecturer at the same college and also served as editor of the Christian theological magazine Sathiyavasanam.

Between 1996 and 2001, Pastor Vasanthakumar pursued further theological studies in the United Kingdom. Since 2005, he has served as Senior Pastor of Emmanuel Christian Fellowship Walthamstow in London.

He is widely recognised as a Bible teacher, author and theologian with a deep desire to help Tamil-speaking Christians understand the Scriptures accurately and faithfully. His ministry continues to be driven by a passion for God's Word and a commitment to equipping believers to know Christ and grow in faith.
